Our general outpatient program addresses the abuse of alcohol and/or drugs.
Treatment includes individual, family, and group counseling and can include care for mental health issues such as anxiety, depression,
bipolar disorder, mood disorders, trauma, and others.
The first few sessions are used to gather information about the client's current situation, life history, and personal strengths.
The client will meet alone with one counselor. We may request contact
with other persons (i.e. family, employer, school) but only with the
client's permission. No information is released to anyone without written approval.
We encourage family members and loved ones to be a part of treatment. Click here to learn about our programs for families.
We will provide the client with treatment recommendations that will be unique to his/her concerns and goals.
Support groups are often recommended in addition to individual and family counseling. We highly recommend 12-step, self-help groups which are often vital to treatment success.
