Notice to Our Clients: Penn Foundation Changing Pharmacy Providers
Dear Clients,
As a Penn Foundation client who is able to use our on-site pharmacy, we are notifying you about an important change in providers. Effective Sept. 15, 2020, Penn Foundation will begin contracting its on-site pharmacy services with Genoa Healthcare®. While Penn Foundation is making this change, please know that you still have the same choice as always to use any pharmacy you choose. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and encourage you to consider the options outlined below.
- If you are currently using Sellersville Pharmacy and choose to continue having prescriptions sent there, medications will need to be picked up at its location at 281 S. Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960 after September 14, 2020.
- If you choose to use Penn Foundation’s on-site pharmacy, you will need to initiate the transfer of your prescription(s) by contacting Genoa’s local pharmacy team. Genoa will ask you some general questions, including insurance information, and handle the transfer for you. Additionally, while Genoa is completing some minor renovations and awaiting state approval to move into the space at Penn Foundation, Genoa is offering you the option to have prescriptions mailed directly to your home for free during the transition. For more information about Genoa or to set up your free prescription mailing, please contact the Genoa pharmacy team at 484-388-5237.
We are confident that this on-site pharmacy partnership will serve our clients and staff well as we continually work to provide high-quality, effective, and holistic care. Genoa brings more than 20 years of experience in providing pharmacy services to the behavioral health community and shares the same values of mutual respect, teamwork, and excellent customer service that you have come to expect.
If you have any questions related to the pharmacy change or your prescriptions, please do not hesitate to contact Genoa directly at 484-388-5237. The Genoa customer service team is ready to assist.
Sincerely,
Gibson George, M.D.
