Psychiatrist Pamela Marinchak, M.D., Joins Penn Foundation Staff

Pamela Marinchak Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist Pamela Marinchak, M.D. has joined the staff of Penn
Foundation.

A native of Southampton, Dr. Marinchak earned her medical degree from the Medical
College of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia). Her post-graduate training includes an
internship in Pediatrics at the Medical College of Philadelphia, a residency in Adult
Psychiatry at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Fellowship in
Child Psychiatry at the Medical College of Pennsylvania at Eastern Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute. She earned her undergraduate degree from Temple University.

Prior to joining Penn Foundation, Dr. Marinchak was a staff Psychiatrist with Northwestern Human Services of Philadelphia. She holds special interest in working with pre-school and elementary-age children, specifically in the areas of ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, nutrition and health, foster care, and adoption. Dr. Marinchak is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and Board Eligible in Child Psychiatry. She is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Regional Council of Child Psychiatry.

Dr. Marinchak will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication checks for children and adolescents using Penn Foundation’s Mental Health Outpatient Services. This program offers a variety of treatment approaches to address childhood and adolescent difficulties and emotional issues. Treatment approaches include individual assessments; psychiatric and psychological evaluations; individual, family, and group therapy; play therapy; and medication management.
