Amy Maurizio, MS, MBA, Joins Penn Foundation as Director of Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Services

Amy MaurizioAmy Maurizio, MS, MBA, has joined the staff of Penn Foundation as
Director of Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Services. In this role, she will oversee the clinical and administrative functions of the agency’s 16-bed detoxification and 39-bed rehabilitation programs.


Maurizio has worked in the behavioral health field for more than 15 years, most recently as the Director of Clinical Services at Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. (formerly Today, Inc.) in Newtown. She is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and a Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional – Diplomate (CCDP-D) and has special training in Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Maurizio earned her Master’s Degree from Arcadia University and her MBA from Strayer University.
