A Season of Generosity

Penn Foundation has long been able to rely on the incredible generosity of you, our donors and volunteers, but never more so than during this season of giving. In September, our Autumn Event kicked off the season as an incredible gathering of our strongest supporters, and you once again gave generously to make this significant fundraiser a success, raising more than $130,000 for Penn Foundation. Thank you!

#GivingTuesday

On the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Penn Foundation joined #GivingTuesdayBucks for the third year and #GivingTuesdayMontCo for the first time to inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give back to the charities and causes they support, and help to create a better world. Read more about these regional collaborations at www.GivingTuesdayBucks.org or www.GivingTuesdayMontCo.org.

With your help, Penn Foundation met our goal on #GivingTuesday by raising $2,700 for Camp Courage 2016. Thank you! Though #GivingTuesday is over, it’s not too late to help children with emotional and developmental disorders attend camp this summer! You can make a gift online at our website – www.PennFoundation.org – or call Jennifer King, Director of Advancement, at (215) 453-5190.

Annual Appeal

Many individuals and families chose to support Penn Foundation through our Annual Appeal, which helped us raise more than $82,000. Your generosity will make a difference throughout the year for people living with mental illness and recovering from addiction. We are so grateful!

Charitable giving has been on the rise, according to the latest Giving USA 2015 report. As you plan your charitable giving throughout the year, remember to discuss your financial plans and options with your advisors. There are many ways to make thoughtful, generous, and tax-wise gifts. Every gift is appreciated, and some could provide you with extra tax savings or other benefits. We will be pleased to share these gift ideas with you. For more information, please call Jennifer King, Director of Advancement, at (215) 453-5190.

This year, you can also choose to make your donation a Sustaining Gift for Penn Foundation by authorizing a recurring gift. Your monthly donation will help us continuously deliver on our mission to bring hope and healing to those we serve. It’s the easiest way to ensure that Penn Foundation receives your ongoing support.
