Jonathan Getz, M.S., and Michelle Wade, M.A., Licensed Professional Counselors, Join Penn Foundation

Jonathan GeJonathan Getz 2tz, M.S., and Michelle Wade, M.A., Licensed Professional Counselors, have
joined the staff of Penn Foundation. Getz will provide mental health outpatient assessments
and treatment interventions for adolescents and their families. Wade will provide the same
services primarily for childr
en and their families.

Getz earned his Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Wilmington University
(Wilmington, DE) and his undergraduate degree in Secondary Education from Juniata College
(Huntingdon, PA). In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor, he is a National
Certified Counselor. Getz has worked in the behavioral health field for nine years, most recently as the Clinical Supervisor of the School Justice Program at The Impac
t Project, a foster care agency in Emmaus. Previously, he worked as a teacher for five years.Michelle Wade 2

Wade earned her Master’s degree in Community/Clinical Counseling and her
undergraduate degree in Psychologyfrom Eastern University (St. Davids, PA).
She has worked in the behavioral health field for eight years, most recently as
an Outpatient Therapist and Crisis Intervention Specialist at Lenape Valley
Foundation and as a Mobile and Behavioral Therapist at Northwestern Human Services.

Getz specializes in adolescent depression, anger issues, and cutting. Wade works mostly with children who exhibit anxiety or anger, act out, or need support with life transitions such as divorce, moving, changing schools, etc. Both counselors are accepting new clients.
