Jennifer King Named Director of Advancement

Jennifer_KingJennifer King has been named Penn Foundation’s new Director of Advancement.

King, who joined the agency in 2006 as Coordinator of Special Events and Annual Campaigns, will assume responsibility for all fundraising activities including the establishment of a planned giving program and oversight of the Autumn Event and other special campaigns and events. She will also serve as a liaison between Penn Foundation and its supporters, ensuring continued good stewardship of resources and communicating the positive impact their generosity has on the lives of Penn Foundation’s clients.

Prior to joining Penn Foundation, King worked as the Associate Director of Program and Resource Development at the YWCA of Bucks County. In that role, she was responsible for fund development, grant writing, and special events. For several years, she also represented the YWCA on the Bucks County Women’s History Month Award committee. King, a Langhorne native, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from St. Peter’s College (Jersey City, New Jersey) and her Master’s Degree in Professional Communication from LaSalle University.

She currently resides in Sellersville with her husband John and their two children.
