A Season of Giving

Penn Foundation is always appreciative of the incredible support provided by our caring community of donors and volunteers, especially during this season of giving. Autumn Event kicks off this season with a gathering of our strongest supporters who give generously to make this significant fundraiser a success.

#GivingTuesday

For the second year, Penn Foundation has joined #GivingTuesdayBucks, and for the first time, #GivingTuesdayMontCo, regional efforts that will harness the collective power of a unique blend of partners - charities, businesses, families, and individuals - to transform how people think about, talk about, and participate in the giving season.

Giving Tuesday Picture#GivingTuesday will take place on December 2, 2014, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. #GivingTuesday will harness the power of social media to create a national movement around the holidays dedicated to giving, similar to how Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become days that are, today, synonymous with holiday shopping.

Penn Foundation's goal on #GivingTuesday is to raise $2,000 for Camp Courage 2015, doubling what was raised last year. You can make a gift to Camp Courage online HERE or send it to the Advancement Department, Penn Foundation, PO Box 32, Sellersville, PA 18960.

#GivingTuesday hopes to inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they support, and help create a better world. For more information about these regional collaborations, visit www.GivingTuesdayBucks.org or www.GivingTuesdayMontCo.org.

Holiday Giving Trees

This holiday season, Penn Foundation is grateful to The Perk Restaurant and Univest for their help in making the season brighter for area families.

Throughout December, The Perk Restaurant in Perkasie will host a Giving Tree with tags that will benefit child, adolescent, and adult participants in Penn Foundation's various rehabilitation programs.

Univest will once again host holiday giving trees for Penn Foundation's Children's Services at five of its branches - Hatfield, Kulpsville, Line Lexington, Montgomeryville, Sellersville, and Telford (Landis Supermarket). This special project is designed to provide gifts for children who families are experiencing financial difficulties.

Annual Appeal

Many individuals and families choose to support Penn Foundation with an end-of-the-year gift through our Annual Appeal. The funds raised through this appeal support Penn Foundation's Commonwealth Fund, which supports our ability to provide the clinical programs and care upon which our community depends.

During the final months of 2014, take advantage of your giving options by discussing your financial plans with your advisors. There are many ways to make thoughtful, generous, tax-wise gifts by the end of the year. Every gift is appreciated, and some gifts would provide you with extra tax savings or other benefits. We will be pleased to share these gift ideas with you. For more information, contact Jennifer King, Director of Advancement, at 215.453.5190.

This year, you can also choose to make your donation a Sustaining Gift for Penn Foundation by authorizing a recurring gift. Look for your mailing that shows how you can make a contribution or click HERE to make a gift online. Please consider making a gift to help bring hope and healing to others!
