When you donate to Penn Foundation, you help to bring hope and healing to children, families, and adults. Your generosity helps those seeking recovery from the devastation of addiction, families learning strategies to help an autistic child thrive, adults with mental illness achieve their life goals, and more. Join us today, and make a gift that changes lives.
Unless designated otherwise, donations are placed in our Commonwealth Fund, which supports all of Penn Foundation. It is also used to help individuals who cannot pay or can only partially pay for the services they receive.
Individuals who donate $1,000 or more annually are part of our Associates Program.
Campus Capital Improvements
The generosity of our caring community means Penn Foundation has a beautiful and welcoming campus. Philanthropic gifts can help us address significant building needs and campus improvements as they arise and plan for the future.
Memorial Gifts and Honorary Gifts*
A memorial gift to Penn Foundation honors and preserves the memory of a loved one. When a loved one passes, some families choose to ask family and friends to donate to Penn Foundation in memory of that person.
At special times of the year, such as a holiday, birthday, or anniversary, some people choose to make memorial gifts or honorary gifts to Penn Foundation. Honorary gifts are your expression of respect for a family member, friend, a counselor, a staff member, or leader at a charitable organization.
*Please include the name of the individual you wish to honor or remember (and if you wish, a special reason) when you send your contribution. Advancement Staff will keep you informed as gifts are made in the individual’s honor or memory.
When you include Penn Foundation in your will or estate plan, your generosity has an impact now and far in the future. Please join us in helping to continue Penn Foundation’s legacy of healing and hope through planned gifts or gifts from Donor-Advised Funds.
Become a Sustaining Hope Giver
You can increase the impact of your gift by choosing a monthly giving option. Your generosity will simply and consistently help Penn Foundation throughout the year until you choose to stop.
Gifts of Stock
Donate appreciated stock that has been held for more than one year to Penn Foundation and pay no capital gains tax on the transaction and receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the stock.
Employer Matching Gifts
You can double the impact of your gift through Employee Matching Gift Programs. You can check your employer’s benefits manual to determine if this is an option. Please let us know if your company has an Employee Matching Gift Program.
You can choose to designate your gift to one of the following programs and have an impact today on those we serve in these programs.
- Camp Mariposa – a free prevention and mentoring program for children who have been impacted by substance abuse in their families
- Family Autism Center – a program that offers the community much needed services for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum and their families
- Addiction Treatment Programs – we offer a comprehensive, forward-thinking approach to addiction treatment that is customizable to meet the unique needs of each person
- Mental Health Programs – programs for children, adolescents, and adults that provide an array of services to help people facing life transitions, stressors, and other mental health challenges
In addition to marking donations for a specific program, funds can also be designated to our Endowment Fund or Penn Foundation Trust, guaranteeing Penn Foundation’s long-term financial health and independence.
