SUMMARY:Recognizing Signs and Symptoms of Childhood Anxiety and Depression and Interventions that Parents Can Use
DESCRIPTION:This presentation will explore the milestones of normal childhood development\, including cognitive\, emotional\, and social growth. We will outline key developmental stages from early childhood through adolescence and discuss typical behaviors and skills expected at each stage. The focus will then shift to identifying signs that may indicate depression or anxiety or other issues that may require clinical intervention. Additionally\, parents and educators will learn practical skills to support their children’s development and address any concerns promptly and effectively. \nPresenters: Julie Morgano\, LCSW and Michael Gallagher\, LPC\, Psychotherapists \nThis is the second in a three-part lecture series presented by St. Luke’s Penn Foundation’s YESS!
