DESCRIPTION:Time Management                                                               \nWednesday\, June 27\, 2018 | 8:00 – 10:00 am \nAbout the Course \nOne identified challenge for employees is often the inability to complete job tasks due to insufficient time. Through this class\, we will learn skills to manage our time more efficiently by recognizing time wasters\, developing scripts for ending a conversation\, processing ways to organize your physical space\, and identifying specific tools that can help manage responsibilities. Participants are encouraged to bring specific issues for discussion in this class\, as we will set aside time for problem-solving within the 2 hour period. \nCourse Objectives \n\nParticipants will be able to pinpoint time wasters and set boundaries to minimize their impact\nParticipants will be able to create routines for the beginning and end of the work day to improve productivity\nParticipants will be able to identify changes needed for work space to increase efficiency\nParticipants will be able to develop scripts for saying “no” to extraneous tasks that will deplete time and energy\n\nTarget Audience \nTarget audience includes psychologists\, social workers\, professional counselors\, marriage and family therapists\, recovery coaches\, peer specialists\, nurses\, nurse practitioners\, psychiatrists\, and substance abuse counselors for this intermediate level of instruction. \nCEs \n\n2.0 PCB Approved Education Credits\n2.0 Continuing Education Credits for Licensed Social workers\, Licensed Professional Counselors\, and Licensed Marriage and Family therapists\n2.0 Continuing Education Credits for Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)\n\n  \nThere is no conflict of interest or commercial support for this program. \nAll attendees must arrive promptly at the beginning of the training and remain the duration of the training to receive continuing education credits. Please have license number available when signing in. \n Persons with disabilities and special needs are encouraged to contact the registrar for further information. \n About the Presenter \nMichelle Rampulla\, MS\, OTR/L\, CPRP is a Master’s level Occupational Therapist and is a nationally Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner. She has worked in the behavioral health field for 12 years\, the last four at Penn Foundation in the REACH Program. Michelle has presented sessions at 3 statewide conferences in the last 4 years\, addressing Cognitive Remediation Training and the correlation between OT and Psychiatric Rehabilitation. \n  \nFor more information\, contact Karen M.
