Paving the Way: Cultural Diversity in Our Workplace

The purpose of this training is to build a stronger understanding of the mission and work of the Diversity Committee at Penn Foundation, as well as a greater awareness of the diversity of our community and how our organization can be a safe environment for all persons. The workshop will discuss the current legal and ethical understanding of “hate speech” and how it can be addressed; tools that can be utilized to engage the population we serve with respect to their cultural diversity; and an explanation of ” cultural humility” and it’s components as they relate to diversity in our workplace and in the community at large.
