St. Luke’s Penn Foundation, in partnership with Miller-Keystone Blood Center, will host a Blood Drive in memory of Walter Wright Jr., a St. Luke’s Penn Foundation employee who passed away unexpectedly on January 2, 2022.
Walter worked as a Certified Peer Specialist at St. Luke’s Penn Foundation for 13 years. He was a role model for many with his attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to consistently meet or exceed the many demands of his position. Walter was also an inspiration to others with his personal discipline and ability to create changes in his life that he wanted or needed, both personally and professionally. In 2021, Walter was recognized by Magellan for his many contributions with its “Above and Beyond” award.
