Emergency Services

We recognize that a crisis does not always occur during regular business hours. Trained crisis workers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to offer supportive problem solving strategies for mental health and substance use emergencies.

In most cases, crisis services act as a referral source. Caller’s information is obtained during a telephone conversation and a specific plan of action is outlined on an individual basis. If it becomes apparent that the situation requires immediate face-to-face intervention or medical attention, the crisis worker will direct the caller to their nearest hospital emergency room.
