Back to Services & Programs
Penn School serves the needs of adolescents with emotional, psychiatric, and social problems who are not able to cope with their issues in a regular school environment. The program provides a flexible structure and supportive environment where students can feel comfortable and experience the attention and support they need. Students are given the opportunity to learn new coping skills, gain confidence, improve peer and interpersonal relationships, and enjoy academic success.
Referrals to the program must be made through the home school district. Admission is jointly determined by the student, parent/guardian, home school district, Bucks County Intermediate Unit, the Adolescent Partial Hospital, and managed care organization. Contact the home school guidance counselor for more information.
