Adolescent Day Services

Our Adolescent Day Program, also known as Adolescent Partial Hospital, has operated since 1985 as a joint effort between Penn Foundation and the Bucks County Intermediate Unit to provide partial hospitalization and special education for educationally and emotionally disturbed adolescents. The program serves students age 14 to 21.

This program is designed to serve the needs of adolescents who may be suffering from depression, anxiety, thought disturbances, school avoidance, self-destructiveness, post-traumatic stress, or other forms of emotional disturbance. Most students have family conflict and/or underdeveloped interpersonal skills.

The program’s operation concurs with the Pennridge School District yearly calendar. During the school year, the program operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
