Social and Vocational Rehabilitation – Wellspring Clubhouse

Wellspring Clubhouse is designed to assist adults with severe and persistent mental illness to achieve social, educational, and vocational skills. We are dedicated to the recovery of men and women with mental illness by providing opportunities for members to live, work, and learn, while contributing their talents through a community of mutual support. At Wellspring Clubhouse, we focus on building upon individual member strengths and abilities rather than treating symptoms of illness.

Our members participate by working side-by-side with staff in work units to accomplish the tasks needed to keep the Clubhouse open and operational. Participants are called "members" instead of clients or patients to distinguish from more traditional treatment programs.

Each work unit is responsible for a different aspect of Clubhouse functioning. Through the social interactions and completion of tasks in the work unit, members gain confidence and learn important skills, which can be used in work, school, or everyday life. We have three work units:

  • Clerical
  • KAM (Kitchen, Agriculture, and Maintenance)
  • Employment and Education

The Clubhouse days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition, there is a monthly schedule of evening and weekend social and recreational activities.

We offer the following services:
