For Adults

We believe not only in the mental health our clients but in the importance of spiritual, emotional, and physical health.

An adult’s life is busy. Days are filled with decisions, deadlines, and interruptions. Marriage, family, and work can be overwhelming and create additional tension and stress. Balancing all of these responsibilities and finding time for yourself seems impossible, especially when everything happens at once. Finding a way to cope just becomes another challenge to overcome.

Growing older can also be worrisome. Although retirement for many is a time of accomplishment and satisfaction, some have a hard time handling this life transition. Facing the end of life can cause regrets and lead people to seek answers to unanswered life questions.

We recognize that many adults, including the older population, need help to bring balance and perspective back into their lives. Others need ongoing support to cope with everyday living. When an adult has a mental illness and a chemical dependency, treatment is needed for both problems.

Penn Foundation provides a comprehensive array of services for adults, unmatched in southeastern Pennsylvania, to handle these life challenges:

Case Management: individualized support including outreach, network building, and assistance in accessing community resources

Assertive Community Treatment: psychiatric treatment, outreach, rehabilitation, and support to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who may have co-occurring problems
