Penn Foundation welcomes volunteers to help with a variety of tasks. Involvement with Penn Foundation is rewarding and fun. Our volunteers make a difference for the clients and residents we serve. Volunteers help with our events, communication with our community, special fundraising projects, major event fundraising, and office support for the Advancement Office. If you are interested in volunteering, fill out our Volunteer Inquiry Form.
Penn Foundation is the beneficiary of this year’s Univest Grand Prix Cyclosportif 100K and will be coordinating the volunteer course marshals. Volunteers get an inside look at one of North America's top cycling events and help the sport of bicycle racing grow. Volunteers are needed in Lansdale, Hatfield, Upper Gwynedd, Franconia, Lower Salford, Upper Salford, Lower Frederick, Upper Frederick, Upper Perkiomen Valley, Marlborough, Salford, the Harleysville area, and the Souderton/Telford area.
Volunteers must be 18 or older or have signed parental permission. An informational meeting will be held during the week preceding the race -- you will be contacted regarding the time and place of the meeting.

Friends of Penn Foundation support the Penn Foundation Board of Directors in planning the State of the Union Gala each May. The gala is a celebration of the gifts and commitment of our many annual supporters. The Gala honors our long time Associates, Autumn Event Sponsors, and many committee and advisory group participants. The event highlights the community impact of our many programs and gives information about future plans and objectives.
Friends are also involved in planning the Autumn Event Celebrity Reception held for 300 high-profile Associate donors and Autumn Event Sponsors as well as Penn Foundation Board of Directors, board committees, program advisory groups, and the Autumn Event Planning Committee.
The Advancement Office welcomes volunteers gifted with computer, clerical, and organizational skills. You can participate in a regular weekly commitment or be available for special projects.
There are a number of annual projects that involve volunteers. The Autumn Event needs volunteers for many tasks including planning and producing the event.
Penn Foundation has an employee volunteer organization that responds to our client needs by holding food and clothing drives and special fundraising projects for specific client or program needs. Outside volunteers are welcomed.
