Celebrating HOPE at Penn Foundation's Autumn Event
Quartetto Gelato Thrills Penn Foundation Community with
Musical Mastery at Autumn Event 2009
Penn Foundation's Autumn Event has become the organization's signature fundraiser. On Tuesday, October 27, 2009, the spectacular evening attacted over 600 guests from the community and helped Penn Foundation to bring hope, healing, and compassion to more than 9,200 individuals.
Quartetto Gelato entranced guests with
their stellar performance, filled with
familiar, celebratory classical pieces, a
sparkling onstage presence, and
genuinely entertaining anecdotes. This
year, the Spectacular Silent Auction
featured one-of-a-kind experiences
highlighting the best of our region.

During the evening's festivities, the annual Adventures in Excellence Award was presented to William S. Aichele
for outstanding community and philanthropic leadership.
Bill inspired us with his commitment to continually growing personally and professionally. He honored those that came before him at Univest as well as his family and his
colleagues who make it possible for him to live out the
values of the organization - tradition, integrity, community, excellence, and spirituality.

Proceeds from Autumn Event help to cover
the charitable care we provide to
individuals who cannot pay or can only
partially pay for the services they receive.
Our deepest thanks to all those who
support the event at Sponsors and Donors,
the volunteer Autumn Event Committee,
and the Friends of Penn Foundation whose
planning made the evening delightful as
well as all of our guests who help bring
hope and healing to others in our
community.
