Penn Foundation and Camp Men-O-Lan have once again partnered to bring the community the second annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 19, 2010 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm at Camp Men-O-Lan in Quakertown.

This FREE event will feature the Lehigh Valley Zoo Expedition, animals from Last Chance Ranch, magicians, crafts, canoeing, paddle boating, face painting, and prizes (Nintendo Wii,  Zoo passes, one week at Camp Men-o-lan, and more). A free hot dog lunch will be served to the first 500 guests.

"Penn Foundation has always been a community-minded organization," says John Goshow, Penn Foundation President and CEO. "It is because of the community that Penn Foundation was founded 55 years ago and has been able to sustain its legacy of providing high quality behavioral healthcare services. We are delighted to give back to the same community that has given so much to us."

The Lehigh Valley Zoo's traveling naturalists will set up a station where guests can experience live animals and bio-facts and engage in lively discussions about animals and conservation.  They will also provide live 20-minute shows at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm.

A Parking Shuttle will run from the Trumbauersville Fire Station (142 N. Main Street, Trumbauersville) to Camp Men-O-Lan from 9:45 am - 3:15 pm. There will NOT be parking for guests on-site at Camp Men-O-Lan.  (Guests needing Handicapped Accessible parking should call 215.453.5182 for more information.)

This event is a fundraiser benefiting Penn Foundation.  Area businesses are invited to donate in-kind gifts or prizes. Event sponsorship opportunities are also available.
